NRCE is a constituent unit of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, under the Department of Agricultural Research & Education, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India.

Decision Making & Accountability
Decisions are taken as per the hierarchical line of control of the institute. The Director, ICAR-NRCE, Hisar is the final decision-making authority. Heads/Incharges of divisions and sections supervise their respective activities, while administrative and financial matters are overseen by the concerned officers.
Norms for Discharge of Functions
Research and development activities are performed by scientists as per the assigned targets and mandate of the institute. Established scientific standards and documented processes are followed for service delivery.
